The relationship between Holland and AFE has been a remarkable adventure... an adventure involving two companies from different cultures, speaking different languages but sharing a common dream. That common dream was to be the "number one" producer of steel fifth wheel castings in the world and it was this dream that created the FWF joint venture.

Making this dream a reality has been a formidable journey. From the beginning the FWF team was challenged to find a way to produce a high-quality steel casting at a competitive price. They also had to deliver these castings on time to various locations around the world. Along the way, the team at FWF has demonstrated a marvelous capacity to produce castings that have gone far beyond our expectations. They have continually improved the efficiency of the foundry and the quality of their product. More importantly they have proven that they have the ability to compete and the will to win, and they have established new meaning for the term "world class".

Although we made this journey together, it was the ability of the FWF team to solve a variety of problems that made them an invaluable resource, not only for us but also for the many customers we service worldwide. The production of the 1,000,000th fifth wheel is a significant milestone in our journey. We want to salute the FWF team in their accomplishment. This adventure has been a great success and in the end FWF has shown that it is the bright imagination of people that ignites the spark that turns dreams into reality.
